Cookie Policy
Effective: May 6, 2026
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, pixels, and fingerprinting scripts — are treated the same way under most privacy laws and we cover them here too.
How we use them
We use cookies and similar technologies on fish.dog (our marketing site) and cat.fish.dog (our product app) to:
- Keep you signed in and your session secure (strictly necessary)
- Remember your preferences such as theme and dismissed banners (functional)
- Understand how visitors find and use our sites (analytics)
- Identify which companies are interested in our product so our team can follow up (advertising / lead intelligence — fish.dog only)
Your choices
You can accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or pick categories from our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time by clicking Cookie Settings in the footer of any page. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be turned off — without them the sites do not function.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies. Doing so may break sign-in, preferences, and other functionality.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising purposes.
We use Google Consent Mode v2 in the EEA and UK. This means Google's tags receive your consent state and behave accordingly: with consent denied, they send only privacy-preserving cookieless pings; with consent granted, they operate normally.
